General Motors new vehicle return policy seems like a great idea. You know what they say. If it sems to be too good to be true, well, it probably is. If you are going to try to take advantage of the GM policy when you purchase a new vehicle, make sure you:
Don’t drive it to much in the first two months;
Don’t get in an accident;
Don’t have wear and tear of more than $200;
Don’t try to bring it back in the first 30 days or after the first 60 days.
There are some other things to think about as well. Here is a link for more information that I found interesting: www.ktvu.com/money/21285147/detail.html
Plus you do not get ALL of your money back if you bring it back. If it is a vehicle defect that makes you want to return the vehicle, a better option could actually be using your states lemon law. Ohio lemon law and Pennsylvania lemon law allows you to get a new vehicle or get ALL of your money back.
